    About Mason

Mason Hernandez Garcia was a joyful, loving, and unforgettable child who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Born prematurely at 23 weeks, Mason overcame tremendous challenges from the very beginning of his life. He was a surviving triplet and demonstrated strength, determination, and resilience far beyond his years.

Mason was autistic and experienced the world in his own beautiful and extraordinary way. He loved music, karaoke, Elmo, hugs, laughter, and encouraging the people around him. One of his favorite songs was “Don’t Stop Believin’,” a message that now represents the hope and perseverance at the heart of this foundation.

Mason’s life was tragically cut short at only six years old. Although his time here was far too brief, his impact will last forever.

Mason’s Legacy Foundation was created to transform heartbreak into purpose by protecting children, supporting families, raising awareness, and creating meaningful change in his honor.

    Mason’s Legacy

    Mason reminds us to:

    • Protect children who cannot always protect themselves.
    • Listen when families ask for help.
    • Celebrate children with autism.
    • Speak out against violence.
    • Never stop believing in hope, healing, and change.

Mason’s story does not end with his passing. His legacy continues through every child protected, every family supported, and every life touched by this mission.

    Our Mission

Mason’s Legacy Foundation exists to honor Mason’s life by protecting children, empowering families, raising autism awareness, promoting domestic violence prevention, and strengthening communities through education, advocacy, partnerships, and compassionate support.

Through education, community outreach, advocacy, and partnerships, we seek to increase awareness of child abuse, neglect, unsafe environments, and the importance of early intervention.

    A Shared Responsibility

Protecting children is not the responsibility of one person or organization. It requires families, schools, healthcare professionals, law enforcement, social service agencies, faith communities, and neighbors working together.

When we protect children, we protect the future.
